3. She does MUCH more for her constituents
And is actually useful in hearings. She was able to appear with other dems this election cycle to hel them win- and help raise $$. Lieberman started his own party, blackmails the dems by threatening to go over to the big bad rethugs. Hillary knows that Iraq is a quagmire. Joe still thinks that the cell phone coverage there is great!

Dude- Joementum- Can you hear me now?

4. 'voted No and strongly so. No comparison. Senator Clinton
is a Democrat, just for starters.

And she trounced her more-left opponent, whereas Holy Joe nearly lost his ass.

6. I seriously doubt that if she were to lose the nomination next year
that she'd be a big baby and run for president as an "Indpendent Democrat".

7. I'd say she's smarter than Liebermoron.
But a lot more devious.

As big an asshole as he is, Liebermoron will take a position. Hillary is running on nothing more than, she's Bill Clintons wife. Triangulating. Won't take a stand on anything.

It's time to end dynasties.

8. of note
Hillary is the ONLY candidate running for president DU tolerates this kind of gratuitous slam against. I can say without hesitation that if this kind of thread was begun captioning any of the other candidates, ANY OF THEM, it would be locked in a heartbeat.

Why is that?

What it is is sadly becoming a trademark of these message boards.

23. No kidding
If I didn't know any better, I'd think I had stumbled on a RW message board. Limbaugh and Hannity can take a vacation with the way that the far left whiners are doing their dirty work for them like they do here.

9. Say what you will, she's loyal to the party
She would never run as an independent if she didn't get the nomination. And while she's more hawkish than I would like, she's nowhere near the hawk-for-all-seasons that Joe Lieberman is. Nor does she sit around and trash her own party relentlessly.

So no; she's no a female Lieberman at all. She's not my favorite for the nomination. I very much want either Obama or Edwards, but I would still be happy to vote for her if she were the nominee.

11. Exaggeration
Lieberman is just too much of a neo-con when it comes to Iraq to be compared with Hillary.
And let's not forget that Hillary said recently that Bush should withdraw ALL the troops from Iraq before he is out office, or she will do it if she wins.

14. Ok I changed my mind
I had not done my homework at the time of my recent post. But after seeing that Hillary Voted NO on redeploying troops out of Iraq by July 2007 and urged Bush to veto a UN condemnation of Israel, I'd say she's pretty darn close to Lieberman.

24. Joe Lieberman is off the reservation, he has joined Zell Miller in la-la-land
Hillary is right of center, and she displays dangerous ultra-Zionist sympathies that remind me of the Israeli rightwing that even someone like Ariel Sharon was forced to reject for its extremism, but Hillary has not crossed over to the Dark Side of the Force as Lieberman has.
