I'm Thinking That Cheney's Out By Friday
If Plame & Fitzgerald testify this week before Waxman's commitee, things are going to get extraordinarily ugly. I suspect that Junior's going to cut Crashcart loose.

VP Condi, here we come.

8. The Congressional 'Dems' Will Love Her!
Since triangulation is the goal of all they do, and since Condi is crazy-right enough to give them cover to move pretty far right, they'd love her. Someone more moderate would give them heartburn - but is anybody on that side of the aisle moderate these days?

Edited on Sat Mar-10-07 11:37 PM by rocknation
He may not have enough to subpoena them with, but telling Congress (and the rest of the world) what he'd learned--well, that could do ten times the damage!

THEY are right and everyone else is WRONG. THEY have a mandate, by God, and they are gonna do what they damned well please as long as they are in office.

20. Seems like Agnew was out in less than one week,
from the time his problems with the IRS were first aired. But that was different: Nixon didn't give a shit about him, and he wasn't running the country either.

It's possible that Uncle Dickie could be out by Friday but I would be extremely surprised were it to happen. If his health holds, he will stay the term, I fear.

21. Junior can't cut crashcart loose. A Vice President cannot be fired.
The best we can hope for is that Junior tells him He is a fucking loser and he is bad for his Presidency and tells him to fucking resign and crashcart starts to cry and then resigns.

Prison is the only thing that would scare him into giving up power. And even then, don't be too sure.

That's my prediction.

(In Cheney's voice)
If you think the GOP is going to allow a black woman to be within a heartbeat of the Oval Office, you have another thing coming...

30. I could see Bush doing that, but Abu Graib Gonzales may be facing
some unpleasantries in the Congress real soon.

The DoJ has come under suspicion of late, and I'm hoping investigations will bring Mr. Gonzales' wicked ways to public light.

28. It's Cheney's stubbornness vs. my wish that he were not in public service.
That said, I hope these hearings grab several headlines and set the course for a huge blue electoral map in November 2008.

If Cheney is the victim of his own skullduggery, so much the better.

29. I can't imagine him replacing Cheney. It would mean he would
be acknowledging a mistake and he who walks on water does not make mistakes. Gonzo might have enough sensibility to resign in an effort to save face, but Dick's not going anywhere.

31. I don't agree that lil Al is gonna
go anywhere either. All these cabal members will NOT leave willingly and I would bet they ain't gonna leave on their own accord next November either.

Yep, I have lots of tinfoil and so far I am glad I have such a large stock of tin foil already in place as I have had to use a lot lately to cope with the recent events.

Again, Al nor Cheney are going anywhere unless God has different ideas for them...and if any bonehead out there thinks Jr is going to grow a set and ask (or fire) anyone to step aside from their posts, think again. He may be a powermaniac, but it's all the man behind the curtain. He's just the puppet. Look what happens when they let him ad lib - it's damage control for the next couple days.

33. You're kidding, right?
For this to happen, it assumes these pricks can be shamed. It's abundantly clear after 6-plus years of this bullshit that they can't be shamed. We are going to have to throw them out. That's why so many of us are pissed that our leaders won't impeach the Chimp.
