If you want to complain about what the democrats in the senate
or the house have done or not done, go ahead. But get a freaking grip on the disparagement of individual candidates that are democratic. Speak with your vote. If you don't like Hillary Clinton, don't vote for her or send her $$ but can we refrain from bashing her. There are candidates I am certainly not crazy about, but I will refrain from diparaging them on this board. I just will not vote for them or support them financially. I know you can say what ever you want--1st amendment and all, but it doesn't do us any good to beat each other up. If you want to beat up on a democratic candidate, go to free republic and join them.

Thanks.

Flame away!!

1. What's Wrong With Critical Analysis
I know what you are saying, I hate seeing Democratic candidates bashed here on DU, whatever the reason.

But, I don't think anything is wrong with critical analysis or factoring electability into our decision of which candidate to support.

All of the Democratic candidates have strengths and weaknesses. None of them are perfect. But, one would have to do something pretty egregious for me not to support that person if he/she became the nominee.

4. Isn't bashing
The Democrats againist DU rules, aren't we supposed to be generally supportive of our progressive candidates and lawmakers?

2. You are entitled to your opinion but if you think of dissent as flaming,
you have misunderstood the meaning of a discussion board.

I do not care for the policies of Hillary Clinton but as a member of this board, I am certainly going to voice what I do not like about them (her policies). I do not think it is good for us to keep silent when we disagree because that is what makes us different from them.
