Is atty. Gonzales another "Karl Rove" in a different arena? I think the theory that the end justifies the means and the elite are above the law is as far from democracy as you can get.and bending or using the law only to fit your agenda should be a clear indication your unfit to serve.

1. Well yeah. Gonzo is the PNAC Neo-Con's Stooge.
He's the frontman for the JD the same way Chimp is the frontman for the organization. Every one of the people they have put in important positions are there simply to cover up the amount of theft and illegal deals that are going on. This whole administration is a sham. Picture the Mafia getting into the White House and you have this group.

2. Maybe a Rove wannabe, Gonzo isn't as talented in the dark arts as Rove.
Rove's been studying and perfecting his craft since the early Nixon years.

Gonzo's just an ordinary lawyer now in way over his head. That thrashing sound we hear in DC is his trying to keep from drowning.

Somebody oughta throw that boy a rope!

3. Gonzales refers to Bush as. "My client"
BLITZER: Looking back on the decisions that you've made, at the White House, now at the Justice Department, anything jump to mind, anything that you deeply regret, a decision that you made?

GONZALES: Oh, I think that you and I -- I'd have to spend some time thinking about that. Obviously, I'm not going to say that I am perfect and that I've been perfect in doing my job. Obviously, I've made some recommendations to my client. Some of those recommendations have not been supported in the courts. In hindsight, you sometimes wonder, whether perhaps the recommendation should have been something different.

4. James Moore, co-author of "Bush's Brain"
... said on Olbermann yesterday that Gonzales' career is marked by mediocrity and the fact that Junior has carried him along every step of the way. It appears his undying loyalty to Junior is only superseded by his ability to bend the Constitution like a pretzel to accommodate Junior's reign of terror on the planet.
