Our system of government is really broken.
Everyone is running for office and no one is running the country. Oh, George is but, he's really crazy so it don't count.

We have come to a point where there is so much money available to our politicians, even if they want to be honest they simply cannot do it.

My telephone bill has $16. in taxes and then there are federal and state sur-charges. 16 X 150,000,000 + alot of money just to give to friends.

I recommend a board of citizens from well known to unknown to interview each candidate for office, just like congress interviews. No lying or spinning. Just the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

The rest of us just try to get by. The system ain't broke but it's been badly bent this past six years.
