Poor decision by CNN
They interrupted the Q&A of the doctor for Snow to provide best wishes.

1. True. Also a poor decision:
Candy Crowley saying: "They said something like "not cureable but treatable. That doesn't make sense to me." Madam, your ignorance is not newsworthy.

Also poor word choice: their on-air medical expert saying, "It's in the breast, but they think they can lick it."

4. No, they did not say that!
"It's in the breast, but they think they can lick it."

The late night show hosts are going to have a field day with that one.

And why doesn't Candy ever wash her hair?

5. treatable but not curable
it is something she is going to have to deal with the rest of her life. as John Edwards said "just like diabetes, this isnt going to go away, but with treatment she can live a long time"

basically with some cancers, if they reoccurring, never fully go away, they need to be battled for the rest of your life.

3. I saw that. It really pissed me off.
I had been watching mostly MSNBC, even though Tweety had been his usual asshole, but the doctor he had on was interesting, as well as Howard Fineman making some very good, positive statements about the Edwards family.
:argh: to most of the MSM!!!
