John Edwards for President
Mar 27, 2007

Chapel Hill, North Carolina – The John Edwards for President campaign announced today that Wisconsin Congressman David Obey, Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, endorsed Senator John Edwards as the Democratic nominee for President.

"Dave is a good friend and a true leader on the important issues facing our country - improving our schools, guaranteeing quality, affordable health care and protecting our natural resources," said Edwards. "I am honored to have his support. Working together, we can change America with big ideas and bold solutions."

Obey endorsed Edwards saying, "When John Edwards talks about tackling the problems that matter most to America's working class families - things like affordable health care, access to quality education and strengthening retirement security - I believe that he really means it. That is the kind of man I want as my President."

1. Wonderful!!! May There Be Many Many More! I Would Say More....
BUT I don't think I'm in a sparring mood tonight! I just squeezed some money from my very tight budget to donate once again to his campaign!

Even though he has gotten some very good feed-back here lately, I wonder how long it will be before the "piling on" will begin AGAIN! Sorry, but I really was shocked at the intensity of the attacks against him.

Call me PollyAnna, but I was!

6. I've Been "With Them" For A Very Long Time... I Seriously Doubt
I will switch! I'm sure ANYTHING can happen, but when all the crap was rolling I just wanted to SCREAM!

I've always found them to be so very "genuine" and can only hope for the very best! If anyone needs some good news, they do!

I'm hangin in! Now I have to find out what kind of DOG FOOD to buy for my chocolate Lab????

2. I really am surprised. Delighted, but surprised,
considering Obey's remark about Southerners a couuple of weeks ago.

Oh, well. This is excellent news.

5. ...Obey spoke for me, so this is good news....
I've done peace marches in NYC/DC/NYC these past couple of years, because of Obey, I won't do them again until A.N.S.W.E.R. takes a hike :(
