But all you had to see and hear was Chris Matthews the day W had that tantrum or fit or whatever it was, with the servicemen and women and their families behind him. Chris Matthews said he "liked" it when the President is strong. (I'm sure the floor in front of him was covered in drool.) And Wolf Blitzer, another disgrace. And who just interviewed Gonzo-Pete Williams? No follow-ups, no pressing any real point-I mean, Jesus Christ, Gonzo is telling him he wasn't involved, then he might have been, then he didn't know. The fact that Gonzo runs a cabinet department with thousands of employees, saying that as an excuse for not knowing this or that. That is your fucking job, man-if you're not on top of what is going on, you should be called out for the incompetent liar that you are. I thought the Nixon administration was bad (and they were), but this bunch takes the cake.
