Please support Senator Durbin, and Senator Grassley
They are sponsoring a Bill which will put
some limits on HB-l Visas. These Visas
have been abused by Business and Corporations.
Initially, they were intended to assist
Businesses who "were having trouble finding
skilled workers," . Most often we thing
of the HI-Tech Companies, ie., Microsoft,
etc.

Over time, they have become a way for companies
to bring in workers (India, etc) at a lower
salary. This is a way to either get rid
of American Workers or not to hire them
once a vacancy occurs. Replace American workers
with skilled workers from another country and
pay then 3/4 of what an American worker
previously earned.

This includes many other skills, in some cases
Nurses, Doctors. Other Labor Skills (Mfg)

Senator Durbin, Democrat and Senator Grassley
Republican have taken this issue seriously
and intend to put American Workers first.

Two specific items in the bill:
The Company must show they have made serious
efforts to find American Workers to fill
the positions.
The Company must list the position with the
Labor Dept who in turn, must post the jobs
on their Website.Americans from all parts
of the country can check for job openings.
The Company must be able to prove the
opening was unfilled for 180 days before
just automatically applying for HB-1 Visa
applicant.

Lou Dobbs covered this tonight. CNN

Please contact your Senator Democrat or
Republican and ask them to give their
support to Senators Durbin And Grassley.

Thank you so much. Our Country needs
your help in saving American Workers.

2. They are working together
to make this a bipartsan effort. Think about the
workers in America, please.

Just contact your Senators and ask them support
Durbin if you have a problem with Grassley.

I just thought it might be easy if you happen
to have a Republican Senator to mention Grassley.

For 12 years I only had Republican Senators.
Now I have the great Sherrod Brown Dem
and Sen. George Voinivich Republican.

Senator Durbin has been there for my family when we needed him. He will aways be a hero to me. They don't get any better than Dick Durbin.
