To suggest that he is not doing anything is flat out wrong.

1. Sorry
I disagree entirely.

He's doing no more than 99.9% of the people here - just running his mouth.

3. I do indeed...
but my point is that as a Congressman, he could actually try DOING something, rather than just yakking about it.

4. I guess the OP thinks his yakking about it
... is somehow worth more than the rest of the chatter.

Get back to me when somebody actually does something of substance to end this war.

And someone get back to me when Dennis does something of substance to gain some actual accomplishments in the Congress!! I respect the man, but seriously. Running your mouth obviously isn't going to end any war, at any time. And bitching about other anti-war candidates like Obama, instead of working with them to end this tragic war, just shows him putting politics before doing whats right--ending this god damn war!!

Not one of these Democratic candidates hasn't wronged us on the Iraq issue in one way or another. It's whose done more, who will do more, and who will do the BEST. If some of you choose to dwell on the authorization vote, the funding, etc. Well, thats fine. But no candidate in the race for the White House can claim they've done everything possible to end this war. And some of the DK supporters want to pretend like he has, and deserves praise from every poster here because of it. Looking at DK's record of accomplishments, on all issues, it's pretty damn thin.

7. I object to him going after Obama.
Let him go after those that voted 'yes' on the IWR. Obama had the good sense to oppose the war from the get-go which makes him Dennis' perceived competition and probably why he is launching snark bombs at Obama. I appreciate Dennis voting 'no' on the war but quite frankly he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting the nod (for the reasons you outlined and then some), and I resent him trying to bloody up Obama in the process.

5. You would be right if...
anyone else in Congress was listening to him.
