Tell me Duers, If all Congressmen become members of the same exclusive Washington Club

Why I should care who becomes the next Democratic candidates for Congress? Or even the next Democratic candidate for president?

4. Which person, most certainly I care
Edited on Mon Apr-09-07 03:50 PM by TechBear_Seattle
Personal politics, background, voting record, issues they have worked on, the size and source of campaign contributions and statements made with regards to issues that are important to me are all very important in deciding who I will support; those who do not make the cut will not get my support, period. I do a lot of background research on candidates exactly because I see all major candidates as being members of the same exclusive club.

3. silly silly silly
Simply because SOME people refer to the US Congress as a "club" (or more accurately they refer to the Senate as the world's most exclusive club), doesn't mean it is actually a "club" where everyone has a good time over beers.

Ever watch CSPAN?

And yes, I do care who my next congressman is.

5. Obviously no one read my previous post about Congressmen
being a servant of the people - This is where I got the comments
about the "exclusive club in Washington" - that is what was said so I wondered why waste my time with candidates,

Wait until election day and push the Demo buttons - right?

6. Obviously, you never read the responses
Or at least, didn't bother to look at who was responding. I am the counter example that proves your statement false. :hi:
