With the purchase came pollution of the Jerry Lewis investigation. If Waxman really wants to get down to it, he could sabotage the defense just like Bushco sabotaged the potential prosecution. He might not be able to prove obstruction of justice, but it would provide a much needed white hot spotlight on the very dark corner where the cockroaches dwell. Multi-tiered efficacy. And it would be good theatre. Someone ought to write Waxman's office about this approach.
