Edited on Sat Apr-14-07 07:44 PM by yourout
a "Permanent Democratic Majority" due to getting caught in one of a multitude of cover ups.

It would be dripping with irony if their nazi-esk power grab resulted the death of the Republican Party and the birth of a 50 year reign of Democratic governance.

edited for spelling.

5. Was in the book store today and saw;
a book titled "Jeb, the next Bush" and thought to myself that the name Bush will not be in politics after this election for the next 20yrs and will become a synonym for fraud and corruption.

6. I think he may have actually caused the demise of the Republics
I see the Republics splitting into an ultra right wing and a more moderate wing and actually having separate tickets. The evangelicals have to think they are close to bringing heaven to earth and will not be satisfied until they have a purification followed by a true grab at power.

8. What we need is a big scandal for that
and we need the media to pay attention to it and hammer the son of a bitch. Not ignore it like they did with the Downing Street Memo. I think if the average American--not a lefty bloggers like us who are informed and consumed with this--came to fully understand the way the Bushies cooked the intel for the Iraq War, that would spell the end of the Republican Party for at least 10 years.

9. Odds are better than 50-50 that that's pretty much what's going to happen
Unfortunately, not for 50 years though. In a generation they will be rising from the ashes.
