One Thing * Said Today At VT That Upset Me.....
Near the end of his comments today he said:

"And on this terrible day of mourning, it's hard to imagine that a time will come when life at Virginia Tech will return to normal. But such a day will come."

I began to think about this in relation to 9/11. The same thing could be or should have been said for the 9/11 tragedy.

However - * will never let people get to that time - because he is always throwing 9/11 back in everybody's face. Constantly reminding people about 9/11. In *'s mind - that day will never come to return to normal after 9/11 - because it is 9/11 that set up everything * has done to this country since (i.e., Patriot Act, Occupation of Iraq, Torture, etc, etc, etc)

He uses 9/11 every chance he gets - he doesn't want this country to heal.

1. He ignores NoLa, then
comes the very next day to VaTech. I guess there were more rich white victims in VaTech.

5. Agreed...the entire Gulf Coast was drowning and he stayed
on vacation...wasn't worth it in his eyes...

I hate to say it but just as everything that he does...this was contrived...he used the school and it's students as another backdrop...

Everyone knows...

4. What a mockery!
It's insulting to be asked to listen to Bush talk about loss when he is responsible for so many deaths.

11. Grief and empathy...
Two words that aren't in Dub's limited vocabulary. Put his "speech" today beside Clinton's at the Oklahoma City Bombing memorial service and it becomes abundantly clear: Dub feels no one's pain but his own.

Dub's future (ghost-written, of course) autobiography should be entitled: "The Audacity of Arrogance"!:grr:

B-)
