"The most important thing -- in any issue, and everything -- is, given the nature of today's media and the scurrilousness of the other side's advertising, that you can't overstate how important it is to have a dollar-for-dollar match on any issue that arises."

Why cast aspersion onto standard bearers who demonstrate success against the GOP money machine?

2. It's more important to have a DNC that matches the power of the RNC's organization

in every state.

Because any Dem CAN win, but the RNC is capable of dragging their losing candidate into the Oval Office while the DNC was sitting in DC schmoozing instead of securing the election process for all Dem voters and candidates, as they promised to do, especially after 2000.
