2. Correction. More people have died in Iraq today than
at Virginia Tech. Admittedly, Virginia Tech was a terrorist act. However The Iraqi WAR is a special form of terrorism sponsored by civil war between Sunni and Shia, the Insurgents, and two state sponsored militaries (USA and pseudo-Iraqi Government Authorities). :(

3. The surge has failed
and that surprises no one. Even the uber-neocon Richard Perle now claims that he was "not an architect of the war." Bush is the Lone Ranger. I hope this gives our Democratic Congress the political and moral strength to face Bush down on war funding and stop this disaster. Get our troops out NOW, alive and in one piece.
