In other news from Iraq

I truly sympathize with the people affected by the tragedy at Virginia Tech. I think we all know of the horror that has taken place over there.

But there is other news coming out of Iraq.

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Insurgent bombers launched a series of attacks across Baghdad on Wednesday and killed at least 171 people and wounded scores -- a particularly violent day in a bloody capital city enduring sectarian warfare and an aggressive government crackdown against insurgents.

This administration has not owned up to the tragedy it has unleashed in Iraq. Thousands die each month. Some calculations have put the death toll over 600 000. When are we going to do something about the people who took us to war? Why do we just act as if they did nothing wrong in taking us to war over there?

People all over the country are crying about the dead at VT. I even found myself doing the same. When are these people going to cry over those little kids without parents in Iraq because of the war, those that live in another country because of the war, those that have no family because of the war, those that will never recover from the devastating civil war, those that do not have homes because of the war, those that walk in fear every day because of the war, those countless numbers who died so tragically etc. This tragedy needs to put into perspective for us the death that takes place everyday in Iraq regularly in higher numbers.
