Poll question: Should NBC have waited before releasing Cho Seung-Hui’s package to the network?

I'm concerned that this is reaching to a point where copycats will see how they can become a news phenomenon if they see how this completely shameful crime plays out.

1. Wonder which (if not all) Networks are already in the movie
planning stage?

2. You can bet they are...
NBC will sell the video to other media markets for a lot of money...that's what will be interesting to see.

If NBC had any conscience in their organization (besides not having released the material so early in this stage, imho), they would either offer it for free or give the proceeds to the whatever group that will help the families of the victims.

This all reminds me of the movie "Network".

3. No conscience, no shame, my TV is OFF networks & cable today
only on for Gonzo perjury, incoming.

Sick bastards, this is a fucking media CIRCUS!! And I think it is really bizarre that this kid had wits about him to mail a package while he was in the middle of shooting rampage, something is really stinking to high heavens about this episode.

4. Other ...

Your choices don't match the question, or at least they don't offer a real choice.

Good push poll, though.

5. I like yes or no (with other) polls
I mean, would "Yes" include that they shouldn't show it...or that they should show it...only later... I dunno...

6. Wow - I just love polls that condone censorship.

7. I wasn't saying they should never release the documents...

As it turned out, may of the victim's families were upset by the release of the Cho package as well as others.

Obviously (at least for me and others), there needs to be some time for healing before we let this garbage get released. As the Blacksburg police said, it didn't offer anything that they already knew... the release played right into Cho's plan.

What NBC did was a cheap revenue stunt.
