From a Former Bush Defender (from craigslist)
Not sure if its real or not, but it seems to be. Here's what was written:

Yes I used to like President Bush. He had morals, compared to the Democrats, who have slaughtered millions of unborn Americans. He fought to preserve the Constitution's Second Amendment which told me he wasn't a tyrant.

But what's with this war? And why has he refused to enforce immigration laws, permitting us to be invaded by a million criminals?

He's spent more than any other president and his inflation of the currancy has forced into a "banana republic" status. What we're seeing in gas prices is simple inflation, my friends. Look at gold and metals prices.

The total amount of dollars in circulation (the M-3) has been deemed a secret by Bush. So we dont know what real inflation is.

Now how about Chinese imports and NAFTA? Lets keep Americans supplied with cheap shit so they don't realize that their dollar is becoming valueless.

This guy is an internationalist. His allegance is to the CFR, the UN and the World Court. He is distroying our soverenty, with the help of half of Congress -- one brick at a time.

If you really care about out country, check out Representative Ron Paul from Texas. He's seeking presidential nomination. He came in as the #2 candidate against Clinton, though the media didn't tell you much about that if anything.

He's a constitutionalist and an American.

Bush is at best a disappointment that drove our nation into bankrupsey; at worst a treasonist.

1. Uh
People who think Busj is not enough of a warmonger or too much of an internationalist are not allies. The enemy of my enemy is not always my friend.

This guy still sounds like a nutjob, but he's drinking different flavored Kool-Aid

And Ron Paul is a whackjob.

2. Spelling is typical of a freeper - treasonist??
Good for him to have become disillusioned of Bush (what took him so long), but it does not change where he stands: ultra right-wing.

6. Ron Paul didn't say that.
He was on Bill Maier and he said that all other countries had OUTLAWED slavery and that we could have done the same. He seemed to be saying that we should not have war, and there is nothing that I can do but agree with that.

I always tend to err on the side of the far left, but I have yet to learn anything negative about Ron Paul. If there are negative things, please tell me. I never met a fact I didn't like.

8. Once again, Ron Paul didn't say that.
I watched the segment; I heard what he said. He did NOT say it would end on it's own. He said that other nations had outlawed it and we should have, as well, without having had to go to war.

10. You know, you post the YouTube video, but you totally miss the point.
Ron Paul said that there were other ways to get rid of slavery than fighting a war. Period. And he is right.

And, by the way, it's just as rascist for you to condemn him because of his "whiteness" as it is for Imus to call the Rutgers Women's Basketball team "nappy headed hoes."

11. If you didn't realize it I was being scarcastic in order to make a point, and that point
was his lack of sensitivity concerning the whole affair

You and I will have to agree to disagree on this

Have a good day

12. I'm sorry, still_one, I can't see it.
Maybe we will just have to agree to disagree. I am anti-war. Period. I think that we can change things without killing each other--slavery included. I happen to agree with Ron Paul--the Civil War was not necessary, in order to get rid of slavery. Getting rid of slavery WAS necessary, but it should not have taken a war to do it.

13. I appreciate your view, and definitely respect your anti-war stance
I would agree most wars are not necessary, especially Iraq.

However, in my view there is one war where there was no choice, and that was WWII. Negotiations would not have stopped Hitler or Japan. Sure there were reasons it occurred, much of it because of the consequences of WWI, but once Germany and Japan started moving into other countries war was the only path.

Incidently, that is the only war I could think of in the last 100 years that was "necessary". That war had a clarity that we don't have today.

Viet Nam was based on lies, and so were both Iraq wars. The only way the killing will stop in Iraq is when we leave.

14. WWII would have been a bugger to figure out how to do without war, you're right.
BUT, remember: it would not have happened without WWI, where we put some many reparations on Germany, their dollar was not worth crap, and the people were suffering because of it. WWI begat WWII and WWI was NOT necessary.
