Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has announced that he will delay the introduction of Articles of Impeachment against Vice President Richard Cheney, originally scheduled for noon today. The change came on account of the Vice President's hospital visit this morning.

"News reports this morning indicate the Vice President was experiencing a medical crisis. Until the Vice President's condition is clarified, I am placing any action on hold," the Congressman announced in a statement released to RAW STORY.

The Vice President had apparently returned to the White House earlier after visiting the George Washington University Medical Center to have a blood clot in his leg examined. Latest reports from the White House stated that the Vice President's deep venous thrombosis had improved and he was resuming his normal schedule today at the White House.

1. That's a classy move on Kucinich's part
And a wise strategy. If he'd gone ahead, it would have been all the more quickly buried by cries of calculated GOP outrage.

"Have you no decency, Rep. Kucinich? The man's in the hospital, for pity's sake..."

And so on.

2. There's nothing wrong with Deadeye Dick's mouth

since he's busily dissing Harry Reid on MS-RNC as we speak. If he's hale & hearty enough to pull six pounds of foreskin down to his neck & fling chunks of smegma on national TV, he's fair game for Dennis Kucinich's introduction of Articles of Impeachment...IMO, of course.
