MYDD: Current Primary Calendar With Polling Averages
Bowers at mydd has just posted some interesting analyses of the primary calendar along with polling averages and the sets of issues facing each of the frontrunner candidates.

Current Primary Calendar With Polling Averages, 4/24 Update

Here is the current state of polling in the post-Elizabeth Edwards announcement period (3/23 and later) for the Democratic primary / caucus season. For each average, I only list candidates receiving 5% support or greater:

Iowa, 1/14: Edwards 30.7%, Clinton 24.3%, Obama 20.7% (three polls)
Nevada, 1/19: Clinton 35%, Obama 21%, Edwards 15%, Richardson 5% (one poll)
New Hampshire, 1/22: Clinton 28.0%, Edwards 22.0%, Obama 21.5%, (two polls, one with Gore)
South Carolina, 1/29: Obama 29.3%, Clinton 28.0%, Edwards 18.3% (three polls)
Michigan (1/29 possible): Clinton 29%, Obama 24%, Edwards 22% (one poll)
Florida (1/29 possible): Clinton 35.5%, Obama 16.5%, Edwards 10.0% (two polls, one includes Gore)
Nearly National, 2/5: Clinton 36.6%, Obama 25.4%, Edwards 16.8% (twelve polls, all with the entire field but without Gore)

1. Ok, now I'm confused.
One camp here says Obama is leading nationally, another camp syas Clinton is and yet another camp says Edwards is right up there with the other two. Now I have been trying to stay away from the numbers because frankly I think it's still to early.

The only ything I can surmise from all this is this, most of our candidates are doing well. Would I be correct?
