A man can't get an abortion
Soon, a woman might not be able to get one, either (except in Mexico City).

What a man can do is feel the helpless horror of the woman he loves facing a new world of politicized medicine:

I sat there, wondering if I'd at least get my wife back after this. Then 20 minutes passed, and nothing. Thirty minutes. Forty. Forty five. I started to get worried and thought all sorts of horrible things that I will not put words to. Mainly, then, I start to think about the abortion debate. About pro-lifers, in particular. I think about all those meddling politicians that would want to interject themselves into everything that just happened to me, interject themselves between me, my wife, and her doctors.

2. I'm probably going to hell for this, but...
when I saw the thread title, I immediately thought of the Stan/Loretta scene in Monty Python's "Life of Brian."

Stan (Loretta): It's every man's right to have babies if he wants them.
Reg: But...you can't have babies!
Stan (Loretta): Don't you oppress me!
Reg: I'm not oppressing you, Stan. You haven't got a womb. Where's the foetus going to gestate? You going to keep it in a box?

3. Without Python...

4. The uber conservatives have politicized women's wombs
again. Especially with their laughable uber conservative USSC. I'm still furious at the Democrats who allowed Thomas, Alito, and Roberts on the court.

5. I couldn't agree with you more
If you won't use a filibuster to keep destroyers of essential rights off the Supreme Court, what exactly are you keeping your powder dry for?

9. Yeah, those "small government" folks
The ones who want to keep the government out of our private lives, leading the charge to let politicians make everyone's medical decisions for them. Your wife brain dead and her family unable to let her go? You, her husband, have no say in her treatment according to the GOP.

7. An interesting argument
Does that mean I shouldn't be an activist for reproductive rights?
