Black Caucus Members Push To Cancel Fox Debate
The Hill reports that many members of the Congressional Black Caucus are pushing for the independent CBC Institute to formally cancel plans for a Democratic Presidential debate hosted by Fox News. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards have already signalled that they will not attend. "My point is that the major candidates aren’t going to be there, and that’s no real debate," said Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY). Rep. Diane Watson (D-CA) was even more blunt: "We’re very serious about taking the administration in November and I wouldn’t trust getting an accurate and true portrayal of our views on the issues if Fox News is coordinating it."

3. Proof

Notice how we are responding to FauxNews? With outright boycotts. The right-wing has blathered on about the major networks being left-wing biased for years yet they did nothing...

-they never boycotted
-they never tried to institute the Fairness Doctrine to institute "fairness"

They did nothing but bitch bitch bitch and claim claim claim...when all along it was a propaganda smokescreen that could be used in case anything negative were to come out about the Reich. In truth, the bias wasn't there at all, it was just some pesky reporters dug around too much and uncovered Republican (and yes, Democratic) shenanigans.

This is not the case with FauxNews and the Democrats approach is exactly what I want. If we just leave that fucking channel, then Faux has NO NEWS, nothing...it would just be right-wing faces, right-wing perspectives, etc...just like AM radio. At that point it becomes marginilized with only the devoted staying on. That would either work or Faux would have to bring in actual journalists to work for them.
