43 Pit Bulls seized by Feds in Mississippi - (Sad Story)

The dogs are injured, malnourished and parched and may have to be euthanisized. The dogs which made the owner 5k a month by hosting dog fights (which were held in Louisiana) were neglected, lacked shade, clean water and food.

2. He lived and bred the dogs in Mississippi but

the dog fights were held in Louisiana. I don't know what the laws are over there.

12. Just making something illegal doesn't stop it from happening.

In the Arkansas/Oklahoma area they still bust up dogfighting and cockfighting rings from time to time.

4. Poor puppers

We recently did some research on large breed dogs only to find out that Pit Bulls -- although solid and capable of violence/agression -- are actually VERY happy-go-lucky and cheerful, sweet dogs when their owners give them normal pet love and care. So, reading this type of thing now makes me even angerier!

Unfortunately, for the dogs sakes, animals who have been used for fighting don't make good pets, as a general rule. That is probably why they are being put down.

16. Sometime in the last couple of years

they made arrests (either Mississippi or Louisiana) out in the woods at the site of one of these "events." A newspaper had pictures. Police were rounding up people and they were the sorriest, dirtiest, evil people in the world. bush's base, the heart and soul of the gop.
