Hillary exceeded expectations. She did well on substance was cool calm and collected, tailored her answers to the time allotted and generally came across as "presidential".She came in as the favorite and left with the slot solidified.
Obama met expectations, He did okay but not great.I like that he could answer from a few different perspectives, showing he could think in very broad terms.
Edwards falters, He was so subdued, too sub duded actually. came across as ... dis-interested. His worst moment was when he truly wanted to say God or Jesus,Then he remembered W had answered that way. you could see him edit himself, and he came up with the more bland "Lord" In that moment he showed himself to be more calculating than passionate.
Biden exceeds expectations, He did great on Iraq. I liked his tone and his substance. He stepped out from Dodd and Richardson. Put himself on the top rung of the second tier.
Dodd suffered from what I call the TV factor. Looked old, grandfatherly.
Richardson suffered , seemed unprepared, uncomfortable, and perspired too much. Dennis K was lost in the crowd overshadowed by Gravel for the left-most lane.
Gravel did well, Who knew? Every news director across the country is looking for his phone#.
