See for yourself.
http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/05/01/bush-vetos-iraq-bill/#commentsI get the feeling that Bush’s whole tragic and continuing presidency could be summed up by “He was wrong then, and he is wrong now”.
Well I said it before and I’ll now amend it:
BUSH HAS VETOED FUNDING THE TROOPS
PUBLIC VOWS IMPEACHMENT

The response from Reid and Pelosi was measured and reasonable. The first hurdle has been cleared. Defining and framing the debate are the next steps, and I believe they are up to it, provided they are not hijacked by the more extreme elements of the party. It begins to appear that some moderate GOP members are ready to cross the aisle.
With discipline and well orhanized leadership, the Democratic congress could end the war sooner rather than later.

Four years ago today, direct quote:
“My fellow Americans: major combat operations in Iraq have ended. In the battle of Iraq, the United States and our allies have prevailed.”
Impeach NOW. Not one more life. Not one more dollar.
