Bill O'Reilly: "Edwards Doesn't Care About Terrorism" (Billo's least favorite candidate)
Edited on Wed May-02-07 03:38 PM by JohnLocke
Bill's astute opine of Edwards today included his belief that the Democratic Presidential candidate "doesn't have a clue and doesn't care about terrorism."

If Edwards - Bill's "least favorite" candidate - were elected, O'Reilly said, "I would build my own fallout shelter."

Edwards just hit the big time, baby. He's on O'Reilly's enemies list.

He warned us last week that Monday was the day. The day his "investigation" would release all the dirt he'd gotten, though last week he hadn't named his targets yet. O'Reilly started his program off yesterday by saying everyone better stay until the end because this one was important. In other words, get ready people because I'm going to name my enemies list. Of course, if you watch O'Reilly you know who's at the top: George Soros. However, he didn't stop at Mr. Soros.

It's about Center for American Progress, MoveOn.org and especially those bad guys at Media Matters. It's about all that Soros money that gets filtered from one place to another.

But in the middle of it comes John Edwards, who is evidently taking not only money but orders from Soros and MoveOn. Of course, Bill-O admits he doesn't have any proof, but he knows it's a fact. He mentions it twice. Now excuse me, but the reason is so obvious it screams. Edwards was the first to walk away from the Fox debate and has refused Fox "News" the time of day. It's not coincidental that O'Reilly is targeting him. This is the type of swiftboating that these wingnuts just love. Bill-O puts Edwards on notice that to diss Fox is to commit the ultimate crime.

1. Since when do we give a fuck here at DU what O'Reilly has to say about
any Democrat, and which one is his "least" or "Most" preferred? Personally, I believe he hates them all probably pretty much equally, when all things are said and done!

2. Well, he is most afraid of Edwards.
Because he is the most progressive candidate that has a chance, and also (not coincidentially) the Democratic candidate that has the best chance of winning the general election.

polluting the air with his vitriol.

So when Edwards wins, can we hold him to his promise to disappear forever?

9. The guy two doors down from me has an anti-Edwards bumper sticker
Flush the John (Edwards). Clever, huh? But I've got him beat. Mine says My Dog is Smarter than Your President.

Living in North Carolina I really like Edwards but to be honest my choice would be Obama. But I think any of our candidates are heads and shoulders above anything the GOP has.

14. quit watching the effing idiots!!!!!!!!!
my Mom does the same thing, WHY??? She yells, "oh hannity said this", "beck said this", I said, quit watching them getting yourself all hell bent. they love to say crap they know upsets people so they'll watch...

and so you know, I see CONSTANT potshots about Edwards from the right, I ignore the details and it tells me they are SCARED shitless of him being our candidate because they know America wants a progressive after 8 years (or less) of this bullshit lying clan. Edwards will take away money from the rich and powerful, so they'll use ALL means (TV & PRINT) to attack him OVER & OVER & OVER, just tell that to everyone... Obama would be next best or Kucinich, but they won't waste time on Dennis unless he hits double digits.

15. They really do take "Pot shots" at all of our candidates.......
and Edwards is of course included.

A Southern White Guy out of the entire line up might have them worried....but so does the articulate Black Guy who was right on the war and may energize many who may have never voted before to go to the poll (what's the percentage who vote here in America right now?). The Right Wingers would die before they allow a Black guy to win, so actually, Edwards is not necessarily the one they are most afraid of. Indeed, Hillary and Bill would get a change at Giant payback time....so I don't actually think that they are praying for her to be the one either.

In the end, they hate all of our candidates. period.
