White House struggles to fill key posts.

“The Bush administration is facing growing difficulties in filling a rising number of high-level vacancies following a recent spate of senior departures. In the last 10 days alone Mr Bush has lost four senior officials and more resignations are expected to follow. ‘I wouldn’t describe this as disintegration,’ said one senior official. ‘But there are worrying large gaps opening up and it is very hard to recruit high-quality people from outside.’

4. "very hard to recruit high-quality people from outside."
The outside of what? Maybe that's the problem, they're all insiders.

5. I'll send in my resume.
If the pay is good enough. I couldn't screw things up any worse than these idiots have.

6. No one wants *Worked for corrupt BushCo regime* on their resume.

They will have to threaten, coerce and extort to get any new people, those who have any possibilities anyhow.

7. Your 'Rush' thing is gross, distracting,
I don't love it, but it is captivating.

8. When did this "high quality" requirement come about?

Surely after Rice and Brownie and Alito and Gonzales and Gates and Chertoff and Bodman and Bolten were appointed.

9. I think people are missing the point here
It's not that Bushco is having a rough time filling these spots. It's why are so many senior officials are resigning. Four in the last ten days is a lot and more are expected.

I think we should be asking ourselves "what new policy has dick and dork dreamed up that his enablers have finally resigned rather than implement?" God knows they gone along with plenty to date.

Scary question:scared:

11. I look at it this way...
going forward, anybody even remotely connected with this regime will never....I repeat.....never get my vote or my support.

It makes you wonder, though. Can't Trinity College pump out enough graduates to staff the administration? Perhaps all the good candidates got raptured?

Maybe they are looking for people with skills and integrity now. Plenty of folks out there, perhaps not so many willing to sacrifice their dignity, self respect, and, for lack of a better term, their soul to support this gang of losers as once was true.
