All the investigation news seems to have disappeared.

I guess they found out that the Bush administration is much mightier then they are so they've decided to give up and just sit it out until 08.

They've found tons of illegal dirt but there is no, NO! rumblings of ANY kind of accountability.
Everyone just looks at the crimes staring them in the face and say, "Oh. That's terrible. They shouldn't do that."

It's no wonder Bush has gotten away with everything when the most Congress will ever do is stamp it's foot and pout.

New agencies, reporters, journalists, bloggers.

Republicans, Independents, Democrats all check in from time to time.

I've called Congress on several occassions, and have had staffers tell me they are aware of the thread at DU, so to some degree, we do influence the news here.

And I have to believe that there are more than a few level-headed GOPers who read things posted here at DU, then go verify the facts for themselves. And then they wonder what the hell they've been supporting all these years. I've had several long-time GOPers tell me that DU opened their mind and made them start questioning their support of the GOP.

So, DU is definitely a power to contend with.

He's uncovered a voter registration bill (already passed) that can bounce people off the lists. This sort of thing is something we can write our congressperson about.
