Rasmussen: Obama only 1pt behind Rudy, leads McCain by 4
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_2008_obama_neck_and_neck_with_giuliani_leads_mccain_by_4

"In the latest Rasmussen Reports national survey of the presidential race, U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D) is within a single point of former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R).

Giuliani nominally leads Obama 45% to 44% when voters consider a general election match-up. In mid-April, Giuliani led by three points. The two had also been neck-and-neck in March.

Obama now holds a four-point lead over Republican Senator John McCain 46% to 42%. In April, Obama's lead over McCain was six points; prior to that, they were tied 44% to 44% for a couple months in a row. "

1. frankly, 1) it's too early and 2) with everything wrong in this country and world it's amazing that
the Republicans are running as well as they are against any of our candidates.

2. You buried the punchline: "Giuliani ties Clinton, edges out Obama, and trails Edwards"

4. Rasmussen hasn't bothered to do head to heads with Edwards for over a month
Your Giuliani number is a month old though I expect to see Edwards still beating him given Rudy's downward trend.

6. "My" Giuliani number? It's Rasmussen's number which you get when you click on the link in the story
you cited. Those ain't my numbers (and if they were my numbers, by the way, then those numbers would show Dennis Kucinich kicking Giuliani's ass).

7. Semantics.
I didn't mean to imply they were literally your numbers.

I am well aware of Rasmussen's poilling, I was simply pointing out those numbers are a month old.

5. I said before but it bears repeating
if you are a republican you should be very worried. In Atlanta this guy drew 20,000 at a rally at Georgia Tech. Georgia Tech is conservative and Georgia is racist. Everybody was there, white, black, hispanic, old, young, students.

The next largest crowd for a politician was Big Dog at 10,000, and of course Chimpy with 2500.

This guy is hot and he is taking stands instead of straddling the fence.
