"(Expletive) You!" McCain Shouts In Meeting At Senate Colleague

Washington Post | May 19, 2007 at 01:00 AM

" you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room," shouted McCain at Cornyn. McCain helped craft a bill in 2006 that passed the Senate but couldn't be compromised with a House bill that was much tougher on illegal immigrants.

Cornyn's office declined to comment on the incident. McCain's camp specifically denied that the senator ever claimed to know more about the immigration issue than other senators, but acknowledged that the two Republicans had quite a disagreement.

Lots of type "A" personalities, egomaniacs and ideologues trying to work out deals makes this sort of thing inevitable.

5. LOL! No argument from me.
Too many chiefs and not enough Indians isn't a cliche for no reason.

4. McCain has some real anger management problems
I understand about Type A personalities, but McCain has been either blowing his top or visibly holding in his rage lately. Someday, it won't be in the Senate. It'll be on TeeVee, or he'll curse at some citizen.

8. McCain still won't get my vote
even though he speaks heartily for me in this regard.

Me to you too, Senator Box Turtle. With all the love in the world.

9. I would probably say the same thing to Cornyn.
But I'm not running for President, either.

11. Just following the example and tone set by Cheney.
Good thing the grown ups are in charge, eh? Such dignity and decorum.
