It was a pretty low-key interview. Rachel just asked him a few questions to which he gave pretty long answers. She started by talking about the Republican debate and the obsession with torture, and how anything can get done with so much anger(not sure of her exact wording)... and Obama simply answered that he didn't think that was the mood of the country and talked about what he was hearing as he traveled around and talked with folks. She also asked him about the talk of his ability to get cross-over votes from Republicans and he talked about his time in Illinois and also his belief that we need to focus on and work from the common interests of both parties. He was great as usual...always answering thoughtfully and carefully...and just perfect in my book! :)
