When I announced my cancer had returned, the outpouring of compassion and support I received was overwhelming.

I appreciate that you took time from your busy life to think about me. Your kindness lifts my spirits and your caring touches my heart.

Cancer has touched so many lives; it is important we continue to reach out to each other as we search for a cure. The support I have received from those who have been touched by cancer has been particularly helpful. Thank you so much for the thoughtful note and your encouraging words.

I went on Edward's blog and wrote to her and received a wonderful thank you note today also. By the time I got to the last paragraph I knew this wasn't one of those one size fits all letters you get from so many politicians.

We are both cancer survivors. When I was diagnosed in 2000 I didn't have much of a chance according to statistics. I shared my story with her and told her about some of the techniques I used to save my sanity. She really read the novella I wrote.

I wish I could vote for Elizabeth. I find my self like the spouses better than the candidates at this point.

and couldn't quite figure out why. I guess I must have signed something!

She is definitely one classy woman!
