Adolph http://www.newsmeat.com/campaign_contributions_to_politicians/donor_list.php?candidate_id=P00003251

McCain http://www.newsmeat.com/campaign_contributions_to_politicians/donor_list.php?candidate_id=P80002801&cycle=2008

Mittens http://www.newsmeat.com/campaign_contributions_to_politicians/donor_list.php?candidate_id=P80003353

I gotta go with Romney on this one. The biggest and most evil defense conglomerate (Bechtel), the biggest and most evil auto conglomerate (GM),the biggest and most evil radio conglomerate (Clearchannel), and the most evil pizza company (Dominos).

2. Not to mention John O'Neill of the Swiftboat Liars!
I'm surprised that Adam Sandler is a Giuliani supporter!I would have assumed he was more liberal. And Lorne Michaels in a McCain supporter. I guess SNL has s more conservative cast than I thought!

3. Sandler did some dumb song at the Republican Convention in '04
I think. I would have thought a Jewish actor from New York would be a Dem too, but oh well.

4. Mittens far and away. Rudy G's. donors are amateurs, Straight Talk Johnny's telecom hacks.
Rudy G's big donors are amateurs (Kelsey Grammar, Mary Higgens Clark, Bo Dietl, give me a break)

Straight Talk Johnny gets a lot of support from telecom donors (Verizon) thanks to his position as senior republican on their regulatory committee but

Mittens though seems to run the gamut from defense, to big oil, to big banking and includes Brent Scocroft which makes me think that he has Poppy Bush's blessing.

I may be wrong, but the powers that be seem to be consolidating behind Mitt Romney and that I think is very bad news.

if elected president yes, but not nominee. He's far easier to beat than McCain or Giuliani.

9. I disagree on how easy he's going to be to beat.
Romney appears to be a guy with no fixed values except his own ambition. He reminds me of a more articulate and polished George Bush. He's slick as seal shit and those movie star good looks will help.

Once he gets the nomination he can easily start mentioning the fact that he was a centrist governor of Massachusetts again and not a conservative governor of some unknown state. He will hype his experience in the Olympics to the hilt--just at the time that our team is competing in China unless Bill Richardson has his way. He may even gamble that he can get away with pulling another flippety flop on abortion--where else are the fundies going to go anyway.

OK, I know it's crazy--but everyone thought Reagan would be a pushover and that Americans would see what a fool Bush was and they did not. Romney's slicker than even Reagan and possibly more amoral than even George Bush.

10. so whats your ranking of beatability then ?
Just because one is easier to beat doesn't mean I'm saying he'll be EASY.

5. Mitt's Bain Capital owns both Clear Channel and Dominoes. I'd cross
reference the list of campaign donors with who Bain Capital owns. Is it legal to have companies you own or influence to contribute to your campaign, sounds like a loophole if it is allowed. I wonder how much Cear Channel will hype him up during the race.
