Take Back America conference and Democracy Fest both in June.
Take Back America is a conference sponsored the Campaign for America's Future. Here is a link to their site.

http://home.ourfuture.org/

Here is more about the TBA conference in late June.

Take Back America

It's time to come together. Everyone knows that building a progressive movement starts at the local level, but it is also important for local activists to join with other progressive leaders, thinkers and bloggers to celebrate last November's wins and work for long-term change at all levels of government. It's time to register for Take Back America 2007 in Washington, DC from June 18-20

Here are a few of the speakers. More are at the links above.

Governor Howard Dean
DFA Chair Jim Dean
Former Senator John Edwards
Representative Dennis Kucinich
Senator Sherrod Brown
Senator Bernie Sanders
Senator Jon Tester
Senator Amy Klobuchar
Robert Greenwald (Brave New World films)
Tom Matzzie (Move On)
Chris Bowers (MyDD)
Jane Hamsher
Anna Burger
Katrina vanden Heuvel

I see more have confirmed now. Hillary and Obama had not confirmed when I check today. I see Barbara Boxer and David Brock have confirmed. Also John Conyers and Dan Froomkin, Ned Lamont, Nathan Newman, Eli Pariser of Move On, David Sirota, Jon Soltz, and it is changing frequently.

But before that comes Democracy Fest in New Hampshire on June 9 and 10.

Last Call for New England

There's only one more DFA Training Academy event scheduled for New England this year. And it takes place next weekend, June 9 and 10, at DemocracyFest in Manchester, NH.
