State Dems Cheer Kucinich Impeachment Call
http://granitegrok.com/blog/2007/06/state_dems_cheer_kucinich_impeachment_ca.html

The CNN/WMUR-sponsored Democrat debate captured the bulk of New Hampshire headlines yesterday and today, but Granite State Democrats assembled in Concord on Sunday during their regular mid-year convention and in at least one way, this convention was far more newsworthy of the two events.

Democrats urge end to war at state convention
By GARRY RAYNO

Sunday, Jun. 3, 2007

CONCORD – Calls to end the Iraqi War and address global warming resonated loudest yesterday with delegates and guests at the state Democratic Party's 2007 Midterm Convention.

- snip -

Kucinich, who ran for the Democratic nomination in 2004 with a platform based on a plan to bring the troops home, said yesterday, "Peace is inevitable if we have a President who is willing."

The former Cleveland mayor drew the biggest applause of the day when he called for the impeachment of Vice President Dick Cheney and later told reporters he receives a similar reaction around the country when he calls for Cheney's impeachment. "I'm just waiting to be discovered by you," he told assembled media.

2. Not that undiscovered guy again
The one who voted against the war from before day one, urged outright defunding, moved impeachment when it was off the table and still gets ignored by the corporate media and most DUers?

He's just too progressive. He's the kind of guy who might provoke DUers to ask where their candidates actually stand on war, aggression and American empire. We can't have that kind of politics: it's too political.

5. Yep, that one. The one who would repeal the PATRIOT Act, get us

out of NAFTA, CAFTA, SHAFTA, etc., enroll all Americans in Medicare, et voila health care for all.

The guy who might provoke DUers to ask where their candidates actually stand on those issues, besides the ones you mentioned.
