I just saw last nights debate and I am Offended by the seating!
Dennis was on the far right (or his left) and that "crazy guy from Alaska" was on the other end with tables between them and the others, with the "top 3" all cozy in the middle. Could they possibly put Clinton or Obama at the end??!!

Oh before I forget... Wolf Blitzer is a Smarmy DICK-HEAD

5. No
I heard Chris Matthews say it decidedly was NOT done by lottery, as it was on the MSNBC debate. He complimented CNN for not doing it that way, and making sure that it was good television by having the three frontrunners together in the middle.

4. Be glad they, at least, had a seat...
If it depended on me, they wouldn't have had any.

9. I think we should all just lie down to the corporate media
and select Hillary as our leader. After all, she's in the lead, right? How can we go wrong with a corporatist candidate that's viewed as some far out liberal by half of the country?

6. If I had to guess, I'd bet the seating was based upon the most recent
national polling. You may not agree with it, but it makes sense why they'd do that.

11. It's possible that those who support Gravel might consider Kucinich to be
"that crazy guy from Ohio". Amazingly, others might too. It's all in your perspective.

20. They did the same thing tonight with the repuke debate
Edited on Tue Jun-05-07 11:33 PM by draft_mario_cuomo
They put Giuliani, the national front-runner, was in the middle like the Dem's national front-runner; the third place candidate, Romney, was to the left of Giuliani like the Dems third place Edwards was to the left of HRC; the 2nd place man was to the right of the front-runner, with it being McCain instead of Obama in this case. Ron Paul was placed to the far right, like Kucinich. It seems clear the seating arrangements were deliberately rigged to make for the best TV (The Edwards-Obama spat wouldn't have been nearly as good theater if they were far apart).

21. They "randomly" arrived at the same result for GOP ..
What a co-incidence that the Rudy McRomney team were centraly seated while Ron Paul was off in the corner ... What a hoot ... random doesnt work like that ... go play 0000 in the lottery and call us when you win :)
