Impeach Pelosi
I'm betting even the threat of grass roots uproar will get this woman off the pot and permit impeachment to proceed for Gozales, Cheney, and Bush.

1. Damn - make up your mind. You can't impeach everyone. On the bright side,
you would probably have a built in 28% in support of impeaching Pelosi.

5. She has been majority leader for oh, 7 months now? I for one want to
give the dem majority at least a year before letting it get thrown back to the pubs.

Seriously Demeter, give it time. You may have to live without impeachment. But then again it may happen and I would love to see * and Cheney fry.

But the majority is slim. Even if they drafted articles and got them through the congress, they would never be ratified in the senate. Then you have a lot of wasted effort.

For petes sake they can't even get a non-binding resolution of no confidence on Gonzo through.

We made some progress in November '06, and will make more in '08.

8. Actually, It's only been just over 5 months.
The Dems didn't take over until January.

You're absolutely right. After 12 years of Republics in charge, and with the small majority she has, I give the Speaker credit for what she did in the first few weeks. What is happening now is a lot more complicated and it isn't going to happen until there is some veto proofing done.

12. I guess you don't get it
If Pelosi comes out for the impeachment of Bush (and I'm assuming you'd not want Cheney to be the real President), that would make her seem like she wants to be President...I guess you know that she's third in line behind Cheney.

14. Uh, you can't impeach a member of Congress
You can get a majority of the Dem Congress to remove her as the Speaker candidate in 2009 (not gonna happen) or have 2/3rds of the Congress vote to expel her (definitely not gonna happen).
