WASHINGTON - "Law & Order" star Fred Thompson may be just testing the presidential waters, but his potential candidacy has already swamped John McCain and is threatening Rudy Giuliani, a poll says.

The Los Angeles Times-Bloomberg survey found New York's ex-mayor holding on to the front-runner spot with 26% of Republicans liking him best, but Thompson grabs 21% and Arizona Sen. McCain gets 12%...

If it was a Dem we'd never hear the end of it.
If he runs everybody better pay very close attention to who he selects as a veep cause that person may have a good chance to be pres. (Jesus if Fred wins I'll be singing 'O Canada' as my national anthem). Hope he puts Cheney in charge of the search committee.
