More after the break. Catch the rerun if you can. He did a good job explaining that the Democrats are doing what they can with the votes they have, and made the point about the occupation of Iraq producing more 'terrorists' than we kill.
Their campaign could be clips from their 00/04 debates. Could you imagine people being reminded that Bush only cares about the top 1% of Americans. ...Putting Social Security in a "lock Box". ...I would love America to see that whole clip of Kerry talking about "voting for the 80 million before voting against it"...I'd love to see right winger's faces when Kerry explains it was because he knew the money wouldn't be spent on our soldiers.
I remember Hannity saying it would be so “dumb” if Gore ran that kind of campaign. ...That means dems have to go for it :)
7. This has been a complaint for some years by Kerry, but no doubt he and Gore
have been pretty much in tune with each other in recent years - and it was Gore's speech at the convention that actually was the most comprehensive speech given, imo, but the media overshadowed it with Clinton's very nonthreatening pablum of a speech.
that people shouldn't make judgments based on a vote where they didn't have the 60 votes needed to pass the bill.
That would fly if the Dem's all voted against it, they didn't, not even close kerry did land on the right side of the isle on that vote but it doesn't in any way excuse the others that didn't from voting the right way even if they didn't have the votes.
There is a disconnect somewhere that implies that if you don't have the votes you want you vote with the other side....Sory doesn't work for me.
