Clinton supporters pick up tab at eatery
FORT WORTH -- Frances Rodriguez stood in the rain outside a north side restaurant for hours Saturday morning, hoping to catch a glimpse of Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Her patience was eventually rewarded. As a caravan of black SUVs pulled behind Joe T. Garcia's Mexican Restaurant, she yelled, "There she is."

Clinton turned her head, waved and smiled at Rodriguez and a small group of supporters, before the vehicle parked and Clinton went inside for a private fundraiser.

"I just love that woman," Rodriguez, 56, said with a smile. "I'm a nobody, but when she becomes president, I'll be somebody."

Where they pay their wait staff no salary at all, in violation of Texas and federal law. I used to love the place. I will never go back.

3. I just called Joe T Reasturant phone number (817) 626-4356

and the management explained to me that all wait staff work on tips as do most wait staff and they are paid a salery under the Federal minimum wage act. I just wanted to confirm this for the simple fact I just could not believe that State and federal law could be violated in such a way and nothing done about it.

But back to the subject at hand, I think this is great for Senator Clinton.

5. Well, recently, here on DU...
A member posted about the problems that his sister was having with them NOT paying even the Texas minimum wage. Just working for tips only. The sister got in touch with the Texas Department of Labor, who told her that they were aware, but under the present system, there was not much that could be done about it, and that if the sister pursued it, she would only succeed in losing her job.

13. Not a rumor? What would you call it?
You give no proof, no links not even to the DU members account of what happened. You cite laws that have been broken, nothing can be found of it. Your whole tale reeks.

2. That's a great story, William.
I've found it intereting that research done with the polls suggests that the women supporting Hillary come from all areas, but she is especially popular among women in lower income brackets. And a victory for Hillary will be a victory for all women, in the larger sense. That's what I think Ms. Rodriguez meant.

12. So where's the part about picking up the tab?
WTF?

Hey, if Clinton wants to waste time in a state that will have a meaningless primary, that's rockin' good news.

So what about the tab story? Vapor?
