35th Anniversary of Watergate...what's it going to take to bring down *this* administration?

HD Net Movies has been showing All The President's Men a lot lately. I watched that movie again (for probably my 5th time) last night, and the similarities between the spying and cover-up and today's horrid administration are just eery. But, even worse, this administration has lied and covered up so many other crimes against the Constitution and against international law that it saddens me deeply that the Democratic Party doesn't light the fires and kick the tires of impeachment. We're hearing rhetoric they don't want to slow down legislation or any agenda they may have regarding such legislation. Do they honestly think anything decent or actually beneficial to the nation and our democracy will get past the veto stamp in the Frat Boy's hand? HA! Delusional, at best.

Must we be reminded that it was some of the highest members of the Democratic Party that wanted to brush the Watergate scandal behind and move on quickly?

Look at what happened when the new smoking guns came out (Downing Street Memo, Red Cross report on prison abuses, secret CIA renditions/prisons confirmed, politicization of the GSA, politicization of the Dept. of Justice, illegal domestic spying): NOTHING! A few of the worker-bees have resigned or been fired but the criminals at the top remain unscathed.

Just what in the hell is it going to take to finally get these bastards UNDER OATH and before the impeachment process?!?!?!


WHAT WILL IT TAKE?!?!?!?

but who cares....we'll always have Paris...

It's what was needed to keep the press from going after the government again.


But, they *did* go after another administration. A *Democratic* one! That silly liberal media. And the way the liberal media has just held this admin's feet to the fire, mmm boy! Make Woodward and Bernstein look like they were putting together a newsletter for an elementary school. :sarcasm:
