trent lott stirred the pot when he said talk radio runs America
He made the comments last week talking about immigration. The reaction in newspaper letters and on local radio here in South Mississippi has been quite entertaining. In summary (and in my words) here's a snapshot of what the reaction has been.
We are not ignorant lemmings blindly believing what limbaugh tells us to believe. The fact that we agree with him a 100% of the time is just a coincidence. He and others on the radio which we listen to religiously every second they are on has absolutely no influence on us whatsover. We are god fearing, flag waving hard working Merkuns and we think for ourselves by gawd. So go fuck yourself trent.
listeners shape the radio talk, not the other way around. Interesting that they have been trained to push that argument. Damn they are good students. Intellectually incurious but excellent students.
