Cheney is allowed to investigate anyone!

He will not allow any investigation of himself. He is apparently allowed to release any data he wants to as well. Your secrets, finances, vacation plans, meetings and call are all fair game for him to gather and distribute as he so chooses.

His stance for you is:
If you are innocent why do you need any secrecy, we are at war here!
If there is a one percent chance that you are involved in terrorism, then we MUST take you away and keep you hidden, and do everything that we can possibly do to you to find out the truth. We must destroy you to protect our Nation The truth we extract may prevent a crime in the making.

His stance for himself is:
Completely different.


I would argue that there is a much greater than one percent chance that Cheney is involved in terrorism. What is shock and awe?
