The Truth about Kos: Truth... Or Mere Allegations?
Thanks to a diary by Stu Piddy, we know Markos spent six months in the CIA.

”In the pre-Internet world, someone like me could never have been successful. I don’t have money.
I don’t come from a famous or powerful family. I was an immigrant to the United States."

In fact, it seems that none of that may be true. Since Mr. Moulitsas was born in the United States,
he has always been a citizen and could only have been metaphorically an immigrant. But, as a
matter of law, his claim to be an immigrant himself is simply untrue.

In spite of having supported Reagan and Bush 41 in the past, Moulitsas has packaged himself
as a “progressive” more recently by attacking the DLC and Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Moulitsas also worked for Henry Hyde, who was the US House’s chief manager to impeach Clinton.
After supporting the Republicans during the Clinton impeachment, it would certainly represent
a turn-about if Moulitsas supported a Clinton in 2008.

1. I dunno about this, but the person pushing part of it is misrepresenting
why they were banned from DKos.

To be perfectly honest I could care less if it were true though. He's doing good work now. As long as that continues I'll keep hanging out over there.

5. Holland
Francis Holland was a pervasive troll at Kos. Interrupted and sidetracked discussions constantly. I expect he was 'autobanned' by the community for constantly trolling threads.

Kos didn't have to 'ban' him -- the community was more than willing to do it themselves. He was THAT awful.

3. ditto
it used to be OK to vote for who we thought would be the best person for the job-that was before GWB anyway. The Daily Kos is a good site and I like it and could care less about people with an agenda trying to discredit him or his site.

4. People have different careers and they can change political views.
My dad use to be republican and now he is independent. Many people change their views with time and experiences.
Seems to me that Joe Wilson was from a republican family and was one until the outing of his wife.
