Kerry on Scarbourough this morning
Has anyone posted this today? Good stuff.

It's under "Morning Joe"

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036789/

I wonder if there's a transcript.

I know not alot of people think much of Joe Scarborough, but dang it, I like that he doesn't march in lock step with every Republican. He sure isn't a NeoCon, that's for sure. And he and Kerry in this clip talk alot about getting out of Iraq. Joe even quotes Kerry, 1971. Have a look if you haven't yet.

1. Joe was better when he followed Olbermann
He has gone back to being mostly a RW shill on the Morning Joe show. For a while on Scarborough Country he had changed his tune and been very centrist.

2. I think it matters if he is speaking politics or the war
Edited on Thu Jul-12-07 06:36 AM by karynnj
This morning, he was speaking of how the limited success in Anbar province was due to the tribal leaders themselves throwing Al Qaeda. He pointed out that it was their hatred of AlQaeda that led to this. (This was what Kerry - at least as early as 2005 -had said would happen in various areas in Iraq once they formed their own local governments.)

He is also speaking of the WP article that says Iraq is ungovernable by the CIA and Bush said so in 2006. (shades of the Nixon tapes?)

Covering the political races, he is clearly spinning for the Republicans, giving their story in the best light and the Democrats in the worst light. He was very nice to Hillary when she was on.
