I watched a documentary about the abuses of children in the Catholic Church

At the end were comments on some of the outcomes of the investigations. One was that Bush has given immunity to the Pope for his part in helping in the cover up of the abuses. Before Ratzi was Pope he was in charge of the Bishops who were suppose to get at the bottom and prevent future abuses, instead he seemed to make sure no Bishop was tainted by the scandal. Now I know why Bush has been so "friendly" with the Pope. Or the Pope so nicey nice with Bush.

I'm not a fan of either man and this could very well be true but I'd like to see more proof than "comments".

(Not shooting the messenger here, honestly.)

4. All heads of state have immunity - there is nothing special or related to sex crimes going

on - but the haters of the Catholic Church would have you believe otherwise.

2. I thought everyone knew about this.

I'm from the Boston area, and it was BIG news here when it happened. He was given that immunity and only MONTHS later was elected Pope (with, it was said at the time, a LOT of input from the WH). He is Bush's (and the people whoare actually pulling his strings') choice for Pope.

It's disgusting.
