Sleazy Swanson article is an embarassment to the IMPEACHMENT movement.
How does AfterDowningStreet.org EVER expect Speaker Pelosi to listen to us and put IMPEACHMENT on the table when they publish cheap-shot trash like this about her?

in the hell would they post some shit like that? So what kind of pictures do they have? Pictures of her making love to her husband? Guess what Bush, at least she's getting some. Has Dick Cheney given you any lately?

Sorry but I really wish politicians would grow some balls and pussies and do something against this criminal in chief.

This article, while strange, is no different than some of the conspiracy theories which circulate here in DU and elsewhere. And I'm sure there are many many people out there who believe what Swanson is saying, be it right or wrong.

3. Swanson works so hard
I've seen other areas where perhaps his writing was misinterpreted. He shouldn't really try an attempt at humor, aka Bartcop, because his page by definition is so serious, and his attempts at humor fall flat. Our website has humor because we have a gifted satirical writer and I gave him his own page on "Larry's World" and we are less constrained being less well known of course.

Don't be too hard on Swanson though, he has done much for the impeachment movement, in spite of a few snarky moments he has.

5. Swanson is..
just trying to understand why a normal person would be against the impeachment of the worst president/vice-president in history so he has to come up with some wild scenarios to explain it. No one in his right mind would be against the impeachment of brazen, wanton criminals like Cheney/Bush.

6. Swanson was clearly trying to use humor
to point out the absurdity of her position. But in all serious, it makes you wonder what she is afraid of. If it isn't that she is afraid, then she is quite simply complicit. The "political expediency" argument is a crock.

15. How can she not be complicit?
She is refusing to remove criminals from office. It is her job to uphold our constitution, which clearly spells out impeachment rules. Yet she took it off the table. So please, how is she not being complicit?

As far as doing US any good, my first priority is my country. But I doubt that is the "us" you had in mind. :eyes:

9. David Swanson has done more to promote Dem party values than most.
He is asking some great questions and they need some answers. I did contact afterdowingstreet (actually I am a member there) and commended David for this post.
