ES&S and Diebold

Facts:

Own the vast majority of voting machines.
Will not let the government view the source code that counts the votes.
Republican sympathetic corporations.

Questions:

Why will they not allow for oversight of their source code?
Better yet:
Why don't these companies sell the government the machines?
Why are our citizens so willing to let these two corporations, or any private entity for that matter, control the heartbeat of our Democracy...our vote?

1. Public hand counts. Who counts the votes decide the elections.
Are you comfortable with private companies with vested interests (on either side) deciding who your leaders are?
