Politico columnists call Edwards joke an "attack" against Hillary

Edwards laughed. The audience laughed harder. Hillary laughed the hardest. Everyone laughed.
But this wasn't enough to keep the Politico staff from calling this joke about Hillary's coat an "attack" against her persona.
First Roger Simon, then Helena Andrews stopped short of equating this joke with the Swiftboat smears.

I watched the entire debate - except, perhaps, the last few minutes as we switched to TNT "The Closer."

What did I miss?

13. You know, Edwards delivered that line so well
I almost started liking the guy. Credit goes to Hillary for laughing in kind.

Our candidates show a little personality and the Republico types jump on them for it. How these politicians do without major daily doses of alcohol is beyond me.
